As far as your question, IMO yes they are worth it. Your ride won't be perfect and lowering a car usually leads to squeaks and whatnot.

, wait until you can get both shocks and springs at the same time.
The ride will probably suck if you just throw some springs on, and eventually your car will get "bouncy". And yes, you will hear more noises coming from your new suspension. Just save a few hundred more and get some nice shocks at the same time, and make sure you get an alignment afterwards.

It's not bad to do just springs. I havn't bothered with shocks yet in the year and half since I've had my springs on.
If you plan on doing shocks in the near future hold off on the springs til then.

broke like sh_t after got a new car.eibach pro kit, stock shocks and 17inch.
I am kinda regreting..fu_king alignment is about 50 bucks..
