Well as most of you know we are looking for sponsors for the upcoming Expo.

To date we have:

King Motorsports - Bringing the Race Car
Cobalt Friction Technologies - Donated $500 and giving ITRCA Members Discounts on Brake Pads between now and the expo
Comptech - Donating Product for Banquet Give aways. Bringing a Race Car with any luck.

Comptech was just confirmed about 15 minutes ago when I got off the phone with Bob. They are VERY excited about this event and Bob is super cool. Big thanks to mike at IPS for making the contact with them!

Grassroots Motorsports has a preliminary agreement to cover the event. Looking for a firm comitment in the new couple of weeks.

Realtime has been contact and is considering attending. Feel free to write me emails letting realtime know how much we would like them at the expo and I will be sure to get them passed onto Realtime!

Im sure they would cover it, especially since they love to glorify the R and "R" everything. If you want coverage, Im sure they would be interested.

Gonna be the bestest Expo ever!

(Especially since this is going to be my first Expo.)

 

seems like sat/sun is not enough time to enjoy everything all of a sudden

 

Can we extend this Expo to a 5 days event....

Program like this ---->>>Tech session for 1st day, Dyno for 2nd day, ride in Mugen, Comptech, Realtime car for 3rd day, and of course the last 2 days are for track driving

Chris - who just can't stand the idea of SCC being there, but oh well. They'd find a way to somehow misconstrue the entire thing. :sigh: Any coverage is better than no coverage, though.

 

it will be busy. Trying to pack it full of stuff for the people not driving. Saturday will be the BUSY day for non drivers. Come, attend, GROUP PICTURE, Banquet, and then stay and watch the track event or head home.

 

I agree with you Chris. They will probably just bash us in their article

Exactly. They will take a picture of one or two 'bling' R's that are there (no offense intended at all) and probably think we are having a two 8 hour endurance races and a car show. Or they'll just spend time with Realtime (IF (I really hope they do come) they come) and King.
