My friend has been working on my b16 swap for 2 years and he just completed it now he's am driving around trying to brake the motor in! here is his set up and all he want's to know is do you think that he will hit 13s in the quarter with this set up:
stock pr3 obdo computer maped with Mugen racing chip
type r intake manifold
b16 throttle body
gsr cam shafts(the machine shop widened the vtec lobs)
spoon type r 11:1 standard pistons (10:2 to 10:8 compresion)
ACT stage 1 racing clutch
unorthodox cam gears (not retarted yet!)
no ac/ no power stering all motor!

Hey thanks for the feed back. Did you get your LS/Vtec going yet? I think my next project will be a Ls turbo. Not sure just yet, trying to get a little info on what I should go with as far as leaving the motor stock or beefing it up. But it will be in the works for this winter late spring run.

I think that belmont lake state park was a good location for the second one so well probally try there maybe
