My IM is fine. I just sent you like 500. Anyways, the stock ITR valvetrain can handle 9200rpm but I wouldn't be doing that all day long.

Portflow I believe goes up to 9500? If you use the ti retainers with the springs.

I believe here is the break down:
Portflow inner: 80
Portflow outer: ?
Portflow Ti Retainers: 150

I'm kind of curious what the OEM ITR valvetrain is capable of doing as well... IF it can safely handle 9200 RPM (Like a few people have posted in the past that I have seen), why is the redline 8400? At 9200 do you have insane valve float or is your belt-driven stuff getting the **** kicked out of it or what? I love redlining my R... just curious how far in the red I can go

Red line is at 8400 because the way it was tuned is for 8400. Any higher would yeild less power.

Holy **** you are a post *****! 5:00 AM! I don't know about it not yeilding power, my car seems to pull all the way to the fuel cutoff. The question is, is bouncing off the rev limiter two or three times a day bad for the car? Or was the ITR built to handle it?

yea...there's a certain rev limit to where no power is being made.

The rev-limiter isn't exactly good for your car. That is why it's there. I would try to avoid hitting it as much as possible. It may seem that your car is pulling all the way to 8400 but it peaks around 8000 really.

PS: It's 3:34AM as I type this.
