ok i cant speak for everyone or for every area. however in pa things are just gettin played out. jdm is now everywhere. stock/ sleeper is now done alot too. bodykits are never seen anymore so i think its time to bring out the old parts and change things up. so i cant speak for everyone or for anyone elses opinions on cars but im goin back to the rice style with my altezzas and my body kit. no vinyl though i hate that ****. anyway dont worry im still doin motor mods im just tryin to stay different on the outside. so look out the rice is back. oh and for anyone who thinks im dumb ill save you your time and hammer myself...

who cares. bodykits are ugly, a lot of rare mugen rims are ugly. Some body kits look alright, some rare mugen rims look alright. It doesnt matter really.

Yeah as long as its not too out there I don't have a problem with body kits.

i used to be a ricer.. and it sucked. too much money wasted. and now i think ex/si tails look nicer. normal stock headlight units are better quality and look nicer. body parts and paint are much better quality from the factory. wheels are good, but i discovered, there is a "too big". loud exaust is anoying, and lights are gay. i still like neons, but windshield washer leds can suck it!

i disagree, i see more riced cars in pa, than ever b4, i never see jdm-esque cars at all. maybe its different in carlyle (sp.). Do what u wanna do, its your car and you are the only one you need to please

I dont know about Carlisle, but in Reading there isnt nothing JDM here, its all rice, rice and more rice, maybe you should come and check it out!

I too am a ricer at heart. Guys I think everyone thought tezas and kits were hot when they first came out. I remember those are what got me into cars, controling the looks. Oh well, most of you will never understand the beauty that comes with designing something.

i dunno i just wanna get back to the roots where i started i guess. i remember seein my first import. it was a mitsubishi eclipse and it had a full kit and what i thought at the time was a good stereo. it was at a football game at my old highschool back like 6 years ago. but anyway i remember seeing that and fallin in love with imports and tuning. no offense to anyone who says differently but what is so great about stock? i fell in love with cars that were different and modified. not sleepers and beat cars that look like **** but go hella fast. why not have both. a car that looks good and goes fast. all im sayin is that im goin back to where it started.

 

people have their own opinions, so, let them opinionate. I like some kits, and funky colors, but just like it has been posted before, I have seen this whole rice vs. JDM... no side ever wins, because both will be around. I say just do what makes you happy- your the one who has to drive it man, but good luck with everything.
