yea i know its beat up, and it has 17's and "carbon fiber" altezzas...but no one thought it was fast and i caught many by surprise










the car now resides somewhere in california. it had a b16 bottem end with ctr pistons, gsr tranny, ecu, and a stock gsr head. mods were ram air intake (no name) dc 4-2-1 header, obx short shifter (i know ) and a full exhaust. my best time was 15.59 (im a ****** idiot, didnt know how to launch) first time at track. i ran a neon on the freeway that ran 15.00 and spanked him. after selling the car, the kid i sold it to went to the same track i went to and ran 14.5 on azenis. he had cam gears, but they werent in.

and yes, i miss it. i traded it for the datsun. he wanted a civic, i wanted a drifter. we're both sad of the loss, but look forward to the future

i dont like the alteazzas. my stock tailights were all busted and cracked and ****, and were leaking so much wated the electrical **** was starting to short out. i got em for like $50 is the only reason why (couldnt find stock lights)

and the 17's were $250 with good tires. i had the old cx rims on it, and they had sucky tires.

the car's front end was smashed as **** awhile ago. it had one black fender (painted) and the black hood. so im asuming thats why its black too. and if i can find my pics of the datsun, i'll upload em

i like the car man....but you should have kept it.

 

sometiems i feel like i should have kept it...but then i remember that i bought the car with that motor. i didnt even get the joy of bonding with the car by putting my blood, sweat, and tears into. thats why i parted with it. in all honestly, the datsun is probably faster. i really like rwd, and i also already have another decent civic. this new civic is a good platform because its in good condition. right now it's just my winter car (z car doesnt like slippery roads)

i'll probably end up buying another eg, and just doing the swap myself. i do miss it like i said, then i go get sideways in my datsun, and realize that i dont miss it all that much

hey theres nothiing wrong with 17, I have them...nice car!

 

its a sleeper around here. engine swaps just dont happen that much in my area. a better than 16 second honda just doesnt happen much here.
