New Mounts
I just got a set of Engine Mounts for my B16A from Spi Tuning here in Surrey. They look so good and beefy I just had to post pics of them...
Tough to see here but the bottom of the driver's side mount is thicker than the other mounts, and it's pretty heavily reinforced.

That company is formerly known as Redshift Racing is it not? If it is, i hear terrible things about them and their product.
Can't wait to bolt them in!
EDIT: I would also have liked to purchase HASport mounts, but they're like 800 dollars here with shipping and taxes... too much for me. I get full warranty for these too.

Some guy did a nice welding job on those. I wonder if he rushed or took his time. What do you guys think?

I was doing welds like that back in high school.....Not bad but it looks like that was the students final exams...Weld up 1000 sets for an A
I think for aluminium that is good welding. its not steel....

Yes, it is. I do not know why they have such a bad rep. They've been great with me. They had a problem with the old style driver side mounts cracking under repeated stress (ie the dragstrip), but they improved on the design and used big thick aluminum on the bottom of the mount.

If you look again, you'll see that those mounts are made from separate pieces of Aluminum, and not machined from a "chunk", or "billet".
Pretty good welding....... Just TOO MUCH welding if you ask me.

ah.....still like my hasports
Same here
I could be wrong but, are'nt welded motor mounts bad because it makes them weaker and they break easier ?

These are the mounts I am using for my LS/vtec crx.

I like them alot, especially for the price I paid.. 225 bucks on ebay. They are a bit stiffer than the Hasport mounts IMO.
