This is a pic that somebody took of their car for me. See the 2 holes? There is one more under the black tape! I looked under my hood and I only have ONE hole. So, I asked somebody else and they have 4!!!!

How many does your car have? Are they in the same location ?

Hahaha... no man, just the threaded ones! I am curious if these are just random holes or if there is a common pattern to them.

 

i have 3 holes. all threaded, i think.

no random holes. not suposed to be atleast. either they've been put there or youre missing a bracket (usually) that went there.

haha... ok - I think I know what it's for now. I'm pretty sure that's where the upper middle a-arm mounts too. The previous owner must ahve removed mine.

just cut out circular pieces of tape and cover the other holes like the first one. that will hold it together just fine.

 

Yeah... and write TYPE-R on them so you get the extra 10hp sticker spec.

 

even more then 10hp cause the sticker is soo close to the engine. its like 12.3hp to be exact. but only if you use yellow R's.

Ok... and WHY were you drilling holes in that location? Trying to change your UCA bushings without having to remove them from the car?

You will have to invest in some extra large sticker circles and some extra large Type-R logos. I think you are loosing a lot of engine power with all those holes.

 

i was trying to install a jdm antenna thing. it didnt work out so i had to give it away.

 

I have seen those JDM antenna things. Completely insane! I don't know if they help with radio reception though. From what I hear, you need major mods to get them to work in USDM cars. Somebody was telling me that he converted his 4g CRX to have a Honda Beat front end. The front end had one of the antenna things, but he said he didn't get around to wiring it up. Apparently his front end welds broke while he was taking a turn on the freeway and the car split in two. I didn't dare ask anymore questions... must have been very sad and painful to see such a conversion die like that.

 

well, this time i'm not doing anymore vertical chops. just horizontal ones now. ever seen a convertible hatch? just you wait.
