1 being very easy, and 10 being extremely difficult...i would say, with handy budy or a spring compressor, or both, i say a 3 or a 4...it isnt that hard if you have basic mechanical knowledge and know your tools...it took me and my dad about 2 hours to put them on my civic...i'm currently doing my friends 240sx...got the rears installed, but it got too cold, so we put the front ones off for a while...
Well, it's nothing really, but a lot of time. Make sure you have all the sockets and wrenches handy. If it wasn't for the time spent it would be a 2, but since it takes me a while to do all 4 sides, I'd say 5 or 6.
Oh and the HR race springs should lower the car just perfect IMO. I had a set (neuspeed race same thing) and it was just like it said, 2 1/4" lower. Rode great, a little stiffer, but road great and handled even better. Perfect spring for a CRX or Civic. I might get another set for my civic since I sold the CRX a while back.

Get a spring compressor that works well or do what I did, get them off take them to friend mechanic and just use his wall mount compressor, those things rock. The CRX springs are so small in diameter the wall mount compressor nearly didn't work on them.
This should take u 30 mins. a wheel, if there are no rust issues or broken lca bolts which always happens---my advice SOAK every bolt thoroughly the night before and gently loosen the lca bolts to avoid snapping a head off- good luck.

not difficult, a 3 at most. no mechanical know-how is required for this job, as long as you have common sense. good luck.

you guys still use springs compressors? i havent used on in the last like 10 honda's ive lowered. i just impact it laying on the ground let it shoot out on the drive way, make sure nothing is in the way, it will go about 5-6 feet at the most. ive never had a problem doing it that way
you will need a 14mm or 9/6, a 12mm, 17mm or 11/16, air gun works very nice, jack some jack stands. very easy job
