Ok for the billionth time...IM GETTING A B16 PUT IN MY CAR RIGHT NOW! (finally)

neways....I miss my car...and its only been 2 days...they said theyre waiting on the parts and all for it, but still I miss it. they could at least have a beater to let me use while I wait! i mean I'm givin them close to 4k for it all! oh well....it'll be done b4 Christmas....so it'll all be good when i get it back....anyone else feel like theyre baby aint with them...or something???

 

I feel ya on that one, my car got broken into about the beginning of november and I'm still without it. Still waiting on parts and have a grand ole time re-wiring the ecu harness. You're not alone on this one.

too much if you ask me
i don't care if water pump is new and timing belt
reasonable prices are 3k max

i know its a lot, but thats what i gotta do for it to be done in town...im gonna try and talk him down...but i doubt it'll get me anywhere...oh well...its not all totally my money...

 

You wanna talk about withdrawl? How about wrecking you Hybrid months ago, and having to start a new one from scratch, and having to wait while the funds come in??? THAT's withdrawl!

 

Yeah bro ive been there B4. I had a ride popped and 4 a few months i crused around in a freaking gay WHITE V DUB CABRIOLET until a found my new project. Just be patient and think of all the fun you will have when you get it back. just take it easy so ya dont kill yourself.

4k for an engine swap. max i would pay is 2500. and thats with all the new timming belt and that other new crap.

when i had my electric load, i spend 2 weeks trying to find where the short was... the car wa s85 miles away from me in the middle of a country road...

also when i first started swaping my car, trying to wire all OBDI i spend 1 mth without it, working on getting eveerything back to normal..

 

my hatch has been in the body shop for 6 months now and taken apart for 2 months before that waiting to go in. i guess you cant rush a killer deal on paint and body work. at least i still have my other hatch.
