Default Question for you techies out there...

The headlight harness' on my civ fried and could not be deemed useful. now i bought some cheapie headlight harness' to fit stock lights. honda uses 3 diff color wires. i have the helms manual and i know what they are, BUT my problem is that the universal harness that i bought have all black wires. the concern is if i splice certail wires together and then run power through them, is there a potential danger??? and if not would this be a trial and error type install???

dumb question but i know i shouldnt of put those nokya lights on my car. wife bought them and thought that i would like to have 'hyperwhites'

Get a volt meter...my guess is one will show voltage with the headlights on normal. Another wire will show voltage when you put the brights on. And another of the wires will just be a ground.
