$2300 for '91 CRX Si 150K, worth it?
like the title says, the exterior is in good shape, no mods ever done, completely stock. clean title, but the problem is it has 150K. is it worth it? also, somewhere down the line, i might do a b16a swap.

Mine was originally FS at $2500, although I only ended up paying $1800. The key is no rust and nothing damaged that can't be repaired.
For a non moded car in CA, that's a good price. In CA for a Honda above 1987 model, that's a good price. I don't know about all of you who live in other states that get them for $1, but here in Cali, that's a good price.
The usually going rate for SI's at least for me in the bay area are about 3K plus give or take a few hundred.

i guess cars in cali cost more than the rest of the country, i bought a 91hf for $1200 in NY about 3 years ago. If you are worried about the miles think of this, my car has over 250k on it, and it runs just fine. mileage on these cars shouldnt be the issue, body condition should be. I say go for it... but thats just me..

in Cali that sounds cheap, I've heard of em going for around 3k, how's the rust tranny, engine
I paid $700 for a 91 Si Hatch, all it needed was tires and brakes --the seller basically gave it to me---exterior/interior near new condition. oh yeah it had 142k at the time. now thats a deal.
Man, i top all of you guys in the stupid/ripped off
department. I bought a 90 CRX Si with 98K for $4500. It was in decent shape. But the thing was, the tranny was grinding so i needed a new one and i spent another $1000 for the install. So for my car to be driveable, i spent $5500. Try toping that in the stupidity department. I know you're saying a tranny is not that much but i have no idea how to do the install. I probably got taken a couple hundred. But to top it off even more, it came with DX seats (which i didn't know at the time) and without the CRX Si rims. Try toping that. CRX's in So Cal go for alot more than say Kansas.

Thats one of the best deals Ive heard of, especially considering how rare completely stock 91 Si crx are out here in cali, 150k is not that bad since the car is over 10 years old.
For SoCal that's an ok price. Me and my bro were just looking in the autotrader today. 3 Crx's. All of them were $3000+. I paid $3900 for my '91 Si about a year ago here.
As long as it's in good shape I'd say go for it. You are gonna replace the motor eventually anyway.

OK now I know everything over in CA is more money but for a 91 Si with ONLY yes I said only 150k on it I think 2300 is a good deal that would be an excellant price here in Wisconsin if it had no rust. I would say look it over really good especially in the rear quarters and around the gas door and inside by the gas cap if there is no rust and it runs good I would say get it. Oh and if the timing belt or water pump hasnt been replaced do that right away. Oh and about 4 years ago and with about 97000 miles I bought my 91 DX with an automatic for $3700. Although at the time there was no rust or dents.
i payed 1150 for my 90 STD with no mods, 170k miles, clean title, no body damage, just dings and some scratches, paint still shines, and ran strong....
here people are so stupid they wont give u no more than 1500 for a CRX ir HB bc they say has a lot o fmiles... they dont know what they say...
BTW dont buy it... with the same cash , get out of cali, buy a car in the neighbor state, save some cash and swap that baby...

Good luck finding another 91 "SI" out here in Cali for that price and condition. It shouldn't have rust since its in California weather, unless its been in snow or something. If your not taking advantage of it let me know, I know alot of people here willing to ****** it up for that price. If you do purchase it, you won't regret it even if you pay a couple of hundred bucks more than other states. 91' CRX SI
i paid 3500 for my 91 si with 112k on it. the body was (is) in really good shape for a MN car, just a couple tiny rust spots but you cant be too picky when buying, at least around MN bc it took me 6 months just to find that. i figured i would gamble and miss it trying to find a better one. no rust is the key though.

That is a good price for a 91 CRX Si, the mileage is great considering the year of the car. Go for it
