f22b1 mods
Has anyone done any of these mods an f22b1?
1. Throttle body.
I think Gude makes throttle body that fits. Is it worth it or should I just polish my OEM TB or wait until I put in rings etc. and do the whole head.
2. Performance Oil pan.
I have several mods and run at high RPM and drive hard. I guess that answers my own question about whether I need a performance oil pan. Who makes one thats will fit the f22b1? Has anyone used one?? How is install?
3. Injectors
Any idea how much the flow on injectors with 100k miles on them might be degraded? Lets assume better than average care, good gas, original fuel filter, don't let tank get below quarter tank.
4. Fuel filter.
Any tips on changing the fuel filter on a 97 Accord EX? It looks like a bear.

#1. Get a Throttle body off of an H22a or H23a and port match it.
#2. Hmmm, don't know
#3. Your injectors are probably fine but if your worried send them into RC for reconditioning. (Mine had 190K+ miles on them and I was spraying a lot of nitrous)
#4. The fuel filter is a PITA

yes h22/23 TB fit just port match the intake plenum
i perfer a h22 TB as the map sens mounts direct to the TB not just a hose
the fuel filter is difficult it helps if you have a "pit" type area to work in aka jiffy lube and the right tools you will NEEED a crows foot wrench/socket i think its 14mm misa knows for sure.

I think you'll live without this mod.

ditto
the only point of a performance oil pan is if you start to have an oil starvation problem in high G corners on a race track. I have run my car 10 times harder and at more G's than you can imagine and am yet to have a starvation problem

Bored out TB
B&M Fuel Pressure Regulator
AEM CAI
Skunk2 CAM Gear (-2 degree's)
