HID people .. Little help?

Default HID people .. Little help?

I am about to get HID........

I heard I need different fuse..

What exctaly do i have to change???

Change your headlight fuse to 15A or higher. Simple swap. It should be the fusebox under your steering wheel.

McChulloch HID's says you should use a 20 amp fuse with their setup. so i would say use 20

I use 15A for my 4300k philip's kit. There is no harm in running the 20A though Better safe than sorry.

I would think, if anything, you'd want to run the lowest amp fuse the circuit would allow. That way, if something in the system did go wrong, the fuse would be the weakest link, rather than some other part of the curcuit. This is also why most automobile owner's manuals stress replacing fuses with the same amperage as the one that has blown.
