Brake fluid needs to be checked. Add some.

 

I agree...the brake light isn't just for your e-brake, it is also to notify you of problems with the brake system. You probably need fluid.

 

I had the same thing. I even posted it like you did. Most people said brake fluid level is low. They were right. I filled it and it never happened again.

 

What brake fluid is the weapon of choice?

 

heh, just did this myself, if you look at the resevoir, you'll notice that under acceleration the fluid moves away from the little floater sensor, so it drops down and thinks you're low. Either top it off with some regular brake fluid, or use the opportunity to flush out your system and put some angrier fluid in. For cheap, you can get good synth stuff at pepboys, if you track, look into ATE Superblue/Motul600/do a search
