Is there any kind of accy. that can enable JDM headunits to pickup US FM frequencies?

is that headunit only for the jdm market? my boy had a badass kenwood md/cd unit that is from overseas and it plays radio fine i guess he has never complained it didnt pick up am/fm stations

 

Currently, the FM tuner is for JDM frequencies:

76.0MHz�`90.0MHz

 

I have a Pioneer MD player which I got from Germany http://www2.pioneer-eur.com/eur/prod...nomy_id=25-128 , I was looking at the Japanese models also but they're too pricey. http://www.andale.com/stores/sf_item...9579778&mode=1 has a converter so that you can listen to US frequencies. It's free when you buy a reciever from them.

my buddy just bought a jdm 95 civic and his radio only got low freq. stations. i am not sure of any converters, sorry.
