Default Went to the junk yard

I picked up the stock cat that I have bugged everyone to sell me on this forum... I also found some other parts that I wanted on the same year std. hatch. Just need to know if the prices are good for the items...

1. Tail lights (Center and pass side) $24
2. Black Dash $55
3. Black front seats (driver/pass.) $70
4. 91 Integra LS Engine (condition unknown ) $225
5. Valve Cover (for polishing) $40

Thats it.. Anyone that knows if these prices are fair or what they should be, let me know..

Thanks

anything lower than oem cost is a much better deal. you could always offer lower and see what they say, junk yards are kinda like mexico you bargain till your happy. no disrespect to mexico.

on one of the jy. around the area there's a "bum"(i don't know if sleeping and living next to the jy. on your van makes you a bum...) anyways, he works for the jy. place and if you hook him up with some side money, he'll let you come at night and get whatever you need...

for 45 bucks plus a MCD's meal, my brother got 4 rims/tires(91 accord) the exhaust and the driver side window. it's true...
it's the best! I'm just waiting for a crx with good doors to come in, so i can get them hoes!!!

prices sound good to me. did you at least check the engine out for yourself? I pull all parts myself. I live in the middle of Hillbilly Ville and the junkyard guys usually don't give a **** about imports i.e. scratches, dents, chew-spit. gross. make sure you at least get to check it out before buying.

I like the junkyards...

although in the best one around here the guy always tries to screw you...

For example: 250 bucks for the rear suspension off of a 90 CRX Si... EACH SIDE!

Just everything in the engine bay...

Anyone know if the cat off a 1990 civic 4d would fit a hatch? I got one and I think either the cat is too short for the hb.. or the midpipe i got was off a crx... anyone know the length diff between the crx and civic midpipe?

Also, I can check out everything that I want and pull it myself.. Right now they have an 86 and a 91 ls both with rear disc setup.. Don't know what they want for them but im going to find out tomorrow.. Someone told me the disc setup off the 91 was only $150.. if so it's going to be mine.. (sig says it already is.. lol)

What yard did you go to? I'm in BG too. Did you do to Southern KY Auto Brokers? I went to Evans Honda outside of Knoxville last week. IF THERE IS ANYTHING ANYONE NEEDS FOR A HONDA, EVANS IS HUGE! It's an all Honda salvage yard that covers a good amount of real estate. As far as your prices go, those are pretty good for BG.

d16pwr.. I went to parrish pick-and-pull on old lousiville rd.

The Prices were cool.. how are the prices at evans honda? I was thinking about going there to find some parts for my HB..

I pulled a cat off the car at parrish and it doesn't seem to fit my hb.. guess 4d civics have a smaller exhaust manifold flange(the connects to the cat).

Ohh.. btw.. I think i saw you before.. I told my brother to take off kinda fast in his eclipse(its black primer, grey primer, and red mostly).. you came flying by us pretty quickly..

Were you and your brother crossing Russellville Rd from Campbell Ln? One afternoon around 3 or 4? If so, that was me that went by you. I heard his exhaust rev up and that's all I needed. I don't condone street racing AT ALL, so please don't flame. We'll just call it a moment of weakness. (I'm a big dummy) Anyway, the prices at Evans were ok. They were a little on the high side, but they had everything. I guess its one of the situations where if you want it bad enough, you'll pay.

Can't blame you for going by.. thats what we wanted to see anyways.. lol

How do you like his primer rear-end?

Would you happen to know if crx axles will work on a civichb?
My axles in the front are really crappy on both sides.. I think it may have something to do with the accident I learned about through the carfax report..

Explains the $800 pricetag though.. lol

1990.. but i think they got sold today.. my brother said he didn't see em in the car when he went by the yard today.. sucks because thats probably the cheapest I would have found!

What year seats bolt in to the ef anyway? I've been thinking about swapping mine for some 92-95 si seats.
