i was looking at short shifters today online and almost all of them say they fit Dseries Cars (88-00 Civic) and Bseries (94-01 Tegs) now i must ask. if these are universal does that mean a stock GSR Shifter will fit a Civic? if so, anyone know where to get one used? i like the feel and position of the GSR Shifter and if itll work with my stock engine thats even better.

no a stock gsr wont fit a civic unless you have the gsr shift linkage.

 

but itll work with the shift linkage or is it just too much of a pain and i should buy a short shifter instead?

 

the gsr shift linkage will work for the b series. it u have a d-series you shouldnt bother.
