Need advice on suspension.
I recently bought a coilover kit for my 91 hatch. At the shop they told me that it was better if I get the whole thing changed including the shocks/struts.
What do yall think would be the best way to go?

If your shocks are still fine then there's no reason to replace. But considering your car and suspension is over 10 years old, since youre replacing the springs to save additional labor charges, might as well kill 2 birds with one stone.
cause the addition of coilovers (if drop the car a decent amount) places additional stress to the struts (lower center f gravtiy pulls down harder) so they probally will be shiting the bed soon so save some loot and do em all at once
If I were you I would do it all at the same time. I put my coilovers on a couple of months ago and didn't replace the struts. Now my rear struts are dead!!(Boing) So I'm saving for koni yellows.
GET NEW STRUTS!!!
Trust me. Don't listen to anybody who says "oh you will be fine" If your car is dropped, (like 2 inches or more) your shocks WILL blow and you will be all bouncy bouncy like.
I am also saving for Koni's. My shocks are gone, thanks to my shitty *** adjustable springs.

What kind of shock/struts should I go for?
