i am getting an si front end for my hatch and was thinking of getting a cf hood. my car is black and i want to see what it would look like. my friend thinks if wont look good on a black car but i wanna see it first. thanks

 

Looks best on black cars IMO. Try the appearance/cosmetic forum.

if ur getting the new front end you will need a new hood....might as well go with cf. and just like ryan said. cf hoods look great on black cars.!!!!!

It's a Fiber Images hood. I would buy a VIS hood if I were you. I had one on my 00 hatch and I just bought one for my 94 hatch.

 

FI hoods are more expensive right. ive seen vis hoods and they looks just as clean as FI hoods if not better. The few lbs dont really bother me. If they both look similar ill get the cheaper one.

Unpainted Carbon Fiber hoods look best on black cars. Your friend is wrong, and your friend should know that the purpose of Carbon Fiber Body parts is WEIGHT REDUCTION, not looks.

CF goes well with most colors! black is one of the better ones.
