Default Momo Racing Seat

Ok, I am going to start another post because I desperately need to get rid of the seat. I am now willing to do $600 + Shipping or if you are anywhere near the Columbus, Ohio area, I will be in town until Dec 12th you can pick it up then. After that I will be in Cincinnati. Here are some pictures BUY MY SEAT!!! The seat you are purchasing is the Carbon Kevlar which ways absolutely nothing, I can pick it up with my pinky, no lie! Oh yea, and the seat has never been in a car, I was going to put it in the one that I am getting this weekend however the funds don't allow it! I need to get rid of this seat so I can get my car. Please help me out!
*Edit*

Just to let you guy's know the seat retails at $800 + Shipping so you'd be saving $200 on a brand new seat! If you don't believe me check this website out: http://www.bakerprecision.com/momo1b.htm

How much do the rails run for that, or do you have them too?

I do not have them right now, but this website does http://www.momo-piaa-sparco.com/spseatbr.htm

However I was going to make my own with some L brackets welded to the Stock Seat rails. I have a friend that's pretty handy with a welder.

It is VERY clean... never been put in a car... buy it now, or regret it later. It's $200 off retail and it is basically brand new! c'mon!

I'll give a bump for you bro, you jsut have tpo be patient. 600 is some money to some people, and it is a single seat. Awesome shape though, and I wish you luck. Give it time, you should have no problem.

I agree, it is a lot of money to me too, I just can't go any lower because then I'll be losing money.

welcome to the world of selling parts, you rarely make money. Usually you cut your loses and go cry in the corner. At least that's what I do.

Hmmm... No I have not tried that, I was going to do a somewhat ghetto rig and just buy L Brackets for the sides and then simply weld those to the stock seat rails. Probably wouldn't have worked though. Thanks for the suggestion, if I somehow come across some money and don't have to sell the seat, I will see about it!

BTW: Bump for a new day... and my last exam! WOOHOO!

Carbon Fiber question: I'm looking for a seat that can be braced from behind for rear impacts (brace extending off the roll cage) per many competition rule books.

I don't see any mounting holes in the seat for a rear brace. I seem to remember a thread about CF seats aren't designed for a rear brace, but the aluminum seats are... Anyone know about this issue?

Some seats, such as the one pictured, do not require a brace. I have the Momo Cup GT, which took the place of this seat. I am not required to run a back brace.
