Default 99 b18b into a 93 eg hatch

i know that its obd 2(the motor)...some how this guy i know is using a obd2 ecu on the hatch. (i might trade for this hatch) what will i need to do to convert it to a obd1? what is the code for the obd1 ls ecu? pr4? the check engine light is on and i dont know why.

is it plug and play? anything changes in the harness?
any info would help...thanks

the obd1 LS ecu is P75(well mine is)...it has three plugs instead of four found on the obd2 ecu...it should be all plug and play also, so use the engine wiring harness for that motor and plug into your civic chassis harness....you might have a spare plug at your shock tower but don't worry about it....here's a pic that shows the difference between obd1(top) and obd2(bottom):

Well, if he has full OBDII wiring, you will need an OBDII to OBDI wiring harness and OBDI ECU.

I believe the Pr4 ECU was used on the 92-93 B18a equipped Integra...

i have no idea what ecu he's using. he told me that he has a extra plug out. the check engine light is on. can i use the stock eg harness and use a obd1 ecu?

Yes, your best bet is the p75, which will be out of the 94-95 integras, because it'll bolt right up where the old one comes out of the eg. I believe the 92-93 p74 ecus or pr4 have a slightly different bolt pattern and won't bolt in as nice, but the plugs will work. I was able to score a '95 p75 when I put in my '96 b18b and it bolted in fine. Also, the shock tower plugs were all plug and play. I'm also just running the one O2 sensor at the end of the header and things are running fine.

yes
