Default gounding a wire for +10hp???

I've heard about people grounding the wire which goes from the side of the valve cover to the top.
What are they talking about?
Will it work?

They help make the electronic parts of your car run better, they don't add HP.

he's talking about ground kits, just larger gauge ground wires for the car, i doubt itll make 10+hp, like mentioned earlier, itll possibly help electrical components though.

lightening the load on electrical stuff in turn lightens the load on the motor itself... I will not ADD horsepower but it will decrease the amout of Horsepower that is lost from flywheel to wheel...

there is a current discussion in the tech forum about this. if your car is already properly grounded factory style & in good condition, then theres no way an aftermarket kit will make it better.

How do you figure? Electricity takes the easiest road available...bigger wires = easier passage... It is called resistance... The less resistance you have things will run better and drain less power...

I'm sure new ground wires would be better than those stock rusted ones everyone is using on here just about lol..

i made my own ground kit and it does help a little. my engine starts more better, my lights are a little brighter, my throttle response is a little quicker. not sure about +10hp though.
