Default My car idles too high!!

My car is idling too high.. around 1500-2000 rpm. Why?

where can i get vacuum hoses besides from the dealership? if they're not expensive, i'll replace them tomorrow. they're probably not expensive from the dealership either huh?

u probably have a Vaccum leak. take a propane torch (dont light it) turn it on so propane is comming out. crank the car and take the propane and run it around the lines. the engine will idle higher if propane gets into the motor. once u found the area isolate the line and replace as needed. u can get vaccum line from carquest, auto zone.... its 5/32 size for yours probably.. if its not vac lines check your throttle body screw and the throttle cable tension..

This seems dangerous...for a newbie...wouldn't it be better to get a can of starter fluid and spray around it?
