Just an idea i had... no not any like rules because we're being bad, but i think to make searching easier on everyone looking for certain cars i think everyone who posts pics of their cars should have in the topic Model, Year, and Color

we should come on a consensus on the model names to ... instead of ek and eg and dc2 we should consider calling them by there american names... integra civic etc. the year would help instead of calling it just an like an ek.

That way we can all view the cars and have less clutter of "Pic Request" posts. I'm in no position to enforce such a rule but i just think it would be nice... there isn't much "search n00b" anymore in appearance/cosmetic since that dick advancexgsr is gone which is good... but sometimes it's frustating when u can't find a post u remember see'ing because the title ended up being "My Car check it out! (56 k warning!!)"

Anyways tell me what y'all think, if we started doing it it would be cool... Just another idea i had.

 

 

I definately agree. I hate it when I cant find a topic because the thread title does not describe whats in the thread. I like the model, year, color idea ie. "Civic Si, 99, EBP" then what ever else you got to say like "pics" or whatever. That way when someone whats to see what some wheel likes like on a certain color car, they can just search under "Civic Si, 99, EBP" and pull up every thread that has been posted with that kind of car.

Would also be nice if people would be to the point on their topic titles. Instead of drawn out thread titles, just say "Spoon wheels, pics". The search function would work a hell of a lot better.

I know getting everyone to do this would be impossible but if a lot of us started doing this, it would really help cut down on reposts and make this forum a lot more resourceful. Just my .02 cents.

I don't think you can enforce such a thing... a mod's not going to lock anything because it's mis-titled. The only thing that we can do is starting doing it ourselves and the rest will hopefully follow...

So the next time YOU post a picture of your car just remember to title it..

Yeah I think it 's a great idea. I still dunno what the which one is a ek, eg, xxx bla bla hehe so by calling them by their real name helps a lot.
