where do u guys get ur turbo?
sorry if this is in the wrong forum...anyways i turbo'ed my VX "homemadeturbo.com" style...but with my RS i want it done rite...and i dont wanna go to a shop and pay the "middle man" and i really dont wanna go "ebay turbo" eihter...i can install myself...i just need to know where u guys get ur turbos from

Actually that's a fairly small post. LoL. What are you looking for? A complete turbo kit? Just the turbo? Good place for a manifold? You going to piece together your own kit (ie Custom)?
As far as kits go...I would go with a RevHard kit. I know there are a few guys on here who sell them.
I am piecing my turbo together and it's not as hard as you would think. I would much rather go that route since some kits come with certain parts that aren't that great.
If you want a list of parts you need to piece together your own kit, I can email you one when I get home from work in another long 8 hours.

A lot of people would say the right way is to piece together a kit with all the best parts. If you want something prebuilt, there are quite a few companies to choose from.

thanx guys, ur info's are exactly what i was looking for. maybe i will piece together a kit. with my VX i ran a junkyarded audi turbo (dunno sizing), with mitsu eclipse BOV, and ford probe intercooler. charge pipes are from local muffler shop. ignition was eclipse injectors with gsr fuel pump and ebay (
) fuel pressure reg. (which worked really good). just for ur info. anyways thanx again
