ls vtec is still overheating

Default ls vtec is still overheating

this is what i got once again a b18a1 block with b16 pr3 pistons on ls rods, a b16 head, new b16 water pump, oil pump, head gasket the b18 that is. and its overheating when i put my thermostat in. i blead the air out the system and the fans are wiried to run all the time, the top hose on the rad. will get hot but the bottom one wont. this is the second thermostat that i have tried. and i also get no heat. my temp a gauge will got to 250 then i cut it off and the thermo is a 180. what should i do

i had this problem w/ my ls/vtec , coolant is not overflowing and bubbling in the overflow tank, is it?

did it over heat before you wired your fans to run all the time?
