Default Passing emissions with REVHARD KIT?

I just got a letter in the mail saying that I have an emission test in a few months. Will I pass with the Revhard kit?

Just wanted to know if anyone has gone through it already... if it doesn't pass, how can you make sure you pass with the turbo?

Thanks guys,
Dave

You won't pass. In my opinion, the only sure way to pass is to take off the turbo.

How do you know he won't pass the emisions? Just because he has a Rev-Hard turbo kit he fails automatically? What about Drag owners, and of course Greddy owners? Automatic fail? The visual is a give away. I'm talking about the actual emissions coming out of the exhaust.

With proper tuning any vehicle can pass emissions. Turbo Acura/Hondas run cleaner than most people think.

Yea but most aftermarket turbo kits are for "off-road" use only. Greddy kits that have CARB/50 Street Legal certification are a little different.

if you have all the proper smog equipment running and it works.. passing emissions shouldnt be too bad. although... it automatically fails visual... which means... it wont pass.

No, you just take your car to a smog shop that doesn't care about the visual. I've been doing that for the past four years. The dude just pops my hood and runs the test. He doesn't even bother checking all that CARB EO crap. I only hope he's still around come September '03.
