Default EG, Ek, etc...?

This may be a stupid question but I know that the 5th generation civics are EG and 6th are Ek, but I know that there is a number that follows that depending on what model or year or whatever. My question is what would my 94 ex coupe be?, and does anyone have a list or chart for all hondas? I was just bored and curious. thanks.

YOur EX coupe would be EJ8
It's right there in your VIN.
The 92-00 Coupes are all EJ's (except the 99-00 SI which is EM)

I am not a newbie, but it is funny anyways. I tried the search and manaed to get nothing, I am sure that you guys could probably turn up something but I don't have good luck with searches.

Sorry, it doesn`t work that way. With a name like "Tenzo Racer" you should know your role. Enjoy the EG+Civic/Del Sold Forum.

Welcome

Ryan

yes for practical purposes
92-00 coupe = EJ
92-95 hatch = EG
96-00 hatch = EK
99-00 SI = EM

But most people refer to all 5th gens as EG's and all 6th gens as EK's. Later

Does this remind anyone else of a 10 year old going, "Yeah, well... we're going to make a BETTER club with COOLER names and COOLER passwords and... and... and... and my dad can beat up your dad! You'll see!"
