hid looks kul, but it's hella expensive. my friend got me fake bulbs, 9005 & 9006, it might be "white" but it doesn't give me much vision. is there anyway i can crank up watt on my headlamp or whatever make headlight brighter??? change fuse? i'm cheapass, hope you know what it means. i don't want to spend 3-4 digits on my car like someone out there. well maybe fact that i got no cash to spare w/ my car. ANYHOW, gimme quote if there is any way. it says 51w on my headlamp. btw, it's 98 accord lx.

 

Don't 'up' your fuse rating or install a higher wattage bulb, unless you want to replace the wire harness. The OEM's are plenty bright in my worthless opinion. Yes, going to fake HID's that are tinted blue will reduce the perceived illumination. That's because the blue filters out a lot of the light spectrum and what is left over is more difficult for you eyes to pick up.
