I have the adjustable linkage from HPC, and i'm happy with it. Reason i wen't with the adjustable is that i didn't want to cut and weld it, and then be unhappy with the position. It shifts perfectly fine, with a nice feel to it. However, i do have poly shifter bushings so that helps.

i have the custom integ. shift linkage...and i don't like the way it feels...it feels a little sloppy, but it still works fine though.

Check the bearings on the bottom of your shifter where it bolts to the linkage. Bad bearings will cause lots of slop. That was the perfect excuse for me to finally buy a short shifter

Where's HPC? I'd probably be interested in buying an adjustable one; I have a cut n' rewelded Integra linkage and it feels like CRAP. The shifter position's all wrong and it's sloppy as hell also.

How adjustable is the linkage? Could it be used with both a B16A setup and a B18C setup? I'm looking for something that'll never need replacing... . Thanks in advance, RioNinja..

HCPs web page (did i say HPC?) is http://gonow.to/hcpengineering, and their phone number is 1-714-350-3405. I talked to a guy named George, and he was real helpful and friendly.

As far as adjustability goes, they have like 2-3 inches. I'm pretty sure that both the B16 and B18 use the same length linkage, but nonetheless it provides plenty of adjustment no matter what mount kit your using.

You could actually make your own linkage, as all they do is take a section out of the middle and weld in a section of threads on the one side, and a bolt on the other with a nut to lock it in place. It works pretty good, cuz not only can you adjust how far forward the shifter is, but how far it leans left or right too.

That's a pretty damn cool idea! You wouldn't happen to have a pic on you would you? Couldn't find one on the site... I might see if I can make one, though. Thanks for the info!

I don't have a pic, but it looks like all you would need to do is cut a section out of the middle of the linkage, and pick up a few large bolts with matching nuts from your local hardware store. Slice the head off of a bolt, and weld the section of threads onto the end of where you cut the linkage, and weld a matching nut onto the other section of linkage. A free floating nut works as a lock. [IMG][/IMG]

That's exactly what I did with my crx Shifter linkage and it works . Now how good is a different story. I got to fine tune it because it's a little sloppy at the moment. If anyone want's pictures I can e-mail them in about a week (I still have like 8 pictures left in the camera).

If you have a lot of slop, check the bearing on the bottom of the shifter where it bolts onto the linkage. Mine was bad, and it turns out it was the reason for slop.

Rio, thanks for the extra info

And as for the axles...? I believe they're Integra '90-'93 axles, though I could be wrong. Better ask someone who knows other than me . Maybe sgT in the Tech/Hybrid forums?
