can a b20b,z crank fit in a b16 or b18 block???
The B18 and B20 have the same crank (the difference in displacement is in the 3 mm of additional bore the B20 has), so yes you can use the B20 crank with a B18 block.
It won't work with a B16A block, the B16A block is too short and your pistons would end up sticking out of the block.

would the b20 crank actually give me more torque and hp in the b18

koo thanks that's all i wanted to know.
I also have a b16 at home, but i want to custom stroke it to a 1.8 with a gsr crank, instead of buying those expensive kits. Would i need b16 rods, custom pistons and wrist pins, any feed back would help??

I don't think you can use a GSR crank in a B16A block with stock rods. The pistons would stick out of the block when the crank reacehed TDC. You would have to get custom rods.
LS and CRV cranks are one and the same.
