Can the b20b,z crank fit in the b16, or b18 blocks, i was plannin on stroking them to the 2L without doing the crv-tec swap.

The B18 and B20 have the same crank (the difference in displacement is in the 3 mm of additional bore the B20 has), so yes you can use the B20 crank with a B18 block.

It won't work with a B16A block, the B16A block is too short and your pistons would end up sticking out of the block.

would the b20 crank actually give me more torque and hp in the b18

No,the crank wont make a difference,if u change the bore of the b18 to 84 then that would yeld more power.peace

koo thanks that's all i wanted to know.
I also have a b16 at home, but i want to custom stroke it to a 1.8 with a gsr crank, instead of buying those expensive kits. Would i need b16 rods, custom pistons and wrist pins, any feed back would help??

I don't think you can use a GSR crank in a B16A block with stock rods. The pistons would stick out of the block when the crank reacehed TDC. You would have to get custom rods.

LS and CRV cranks are one and the same.

I've seen people get the GSR crank into B16A blocks.... You need a custom piston with a high mounted wrist pin and custom rods to help keep up the R/S and so that the piston doesn't come out of the block as you stated xThexHeadx... You have to notch the hell out of the block to get it to fit, so I don't know if you would want to do it with the B18A/B, B20B/Z crank.... That has additional 1.8mm of stroke over the B18C crank which mean on any side measuring from the center of the mains you would have to take out an additional 0.9mm.... I would just recommend going with a B18 or B20.... If you had the chose to go with anything tho just sleeve up a GSR to 85mm... Then you got a 2.0L to work with with a better R/S than the LS or CRV... Peace

Yeah I know. What I meant was, it (LS or GSR crank in B16A block) can't be done using stock rods.

Seems like no one did this conversation to know what power it gives. Well I'll cancel that setup

That's because there's no answer to that question. its's impossible to answer just based upon the crankshaft. And I have 2 of these setups.

To get the right answer you must first ask the right questions
