whp w/ jun 3s
looking at this for my potential setup. jdm b18c-R, mugen header, carsound cat, greddy evo exhaust, mugen headgasket, jun3 cams and valvetrain, hondata s100, 310 cc injectors. just wanted to see what everyone else was putting out with jun 3s, on a stock block. thank you.
one thing is for sure. running those mods, without a better header and exhaust you will not be hitting the numbers you think. greddy evo is restrictive.

SINSII on honda-tech hit over 200whp with Jun header, Jun head package, and Jun ECU with stock bottom end on a b18c5. I haven't seen him posting up in a while though.
Also Todasi had a Mugen exhaust making over 200whp so I wouldn't say its that restrictive. However for the price for the Mugen you can buy a Hytech or SMSP catback.

The mugen exhaust is 60.5mm and has been proven to have bottlenecks. For the same price you can get a 2.5inch SMSP or Hytech exhaust system that has no bottlenecks and has been dyno proven. If you are shooting for around 200whp the Mugen exhaust will perform just fine. If you are looking to go boost in the future or higher than 220whp then an SMSP or Hytech exhaust would be better a better choice. All those exhausts are very high in quality so which ever one you choose will be worth it.
im currently making 198hp and 133tq to the wheels with my JUN3s...with vafc and bolt ons
Is the 13.10 time with your current mods and slicks?

I was told the Mugen exhaust was restrictive untill I saw it for myself. My supercharged LS-Vtec put down 267 WHP with the mugen , we dropped it and it picked up 2 "Peak " HP and 1 lbs TQ.This was done on "Vaportrails "Dyno.
The only bottle neck I saw was the step just after the cat, Other than that it is awesome, And quiet !.

mugen header whether 2.5" collector or not still seems somewhat restrictive for top end HP.
HUH?

i made like 174hp just installed the cams
now im looking at mid 12s with new slicks and TUNED
William in my neck of woods made ~194whp w/ Jun3, icebox, Jun header, apex'i N1, cam gears, v-afc, etc. (I think that's the list of i/h/e) He should be at 200whp w/ better tuning device.
Greg,
It is a JDM ITR Block. I know alot of people might not agree but, I attribute alot of gains to the JUN ECU. I just think that they designed their products to work well with one another. Then again, I could just be lucky. I'm usually not very lucky though
