i remember several ppl posting pics of their cars that got painted and looked real good, one of 'em being a 5th gen red civic. if u know of any shops that does cheap, but quality paint jobs, list 'em here please... address and phone # would be nice too thanks in advance

 

600 bucks wont get you a nice paint job.. it might get you by for a couple of months .. try doing some body work your self that will save you alot of money .. thats what i did and had some one spray it .. cost me 900 but i use PPG paint.. it would have cost me 1300 if i didnt know the guy.. but good luck man.. paint is the most expansive mod you can do to your car and the most noticable so i wouldlnt "penny pinch"

 

yea i agree and i know 600 for a paint job sounds crazy... but the ones i saw seemed pretty damn good so i wanted to check it out.
and i will be doing some custom body work myself, mold front and rear lip into the bumper and possibly prep the car myself.
have any pointers for me in prepping the car?
btw, u know how paint jobs from maaco have a blurry reflection from the side... is that caused by a poor job in prepping or the paint quality?

 

i got a paint job for 600 buckz...it was ho0k up price though...turned out really really clean for what i paid for...its not the best asz paint job ever but go0d enough for those with not alot of money...

mobworks in orange quoted me a really good price for a ppg paint job. check them out...www.mobworks.com, call them and ask for miguel.

 

which shop did u get it painted at? and how much is a non-hook up paint job?

cool... they're only like 15 minutes away from me. i've heard good stuff about 'em but aren't their paint jobs expensive?

sorry i dont know the addy or #...its a shop next to my mechanics shop...ya mob does really go0d asz work but too much $$$....they quoted my 2 grand in and out...my paint wasnt PPG it was i forgot starts with an M or whatever who cares lolz too much drugs for me if anyone knows whats better then PPG lemme know so i can figure this damn thing out haha

not really in the prepping although thats a key factor too.. but the reason it comes out looking like *** is because they didnt colorsand and buff it .. they just sprayed the primer,paint, clear... not taking the time inbetween willl def hurt a paint job
get the 400 out and start sanding the direction of the car have fun a good luck

$600 LOL!! i might be able to have my little brother draw on your car w/ a magic marker for that price! honestly you are never going to get anything decent for 600 anywhere unless you do it yourself! a decent job cost about 1500 - 3000 depends where you live!
