Just wanted to share this:
Last week there was a 2000 SH on eBay with a buyitnow for $10,000. The auction stayed active for less than 12 hours when it was cancelled by the seller.

Seller did have 2500+ positive feedbacks
Seller had the shades (meaning something changed on the account recently)

I contacted the seller asking if they were still going to sell it. They replied yes, that they would sell it for $11,000, which included shipping. They also requested a $2000 DIRECT DEPOSIT.

I informed them that I would either drive or fly up to Minnesota in the next 2 days to purchase car and that I would be paying them at the time of the transaction.

Needless to say, I haven't heard back from them.

Makes you wonder - I saw someone mention this in the Prelude topic as well.

Forgot to mention that the VIN didn't check out with either CARFAX or my local Honda Dealer.

 

yeah that was me that posted the message. i also a bit skeptical about the car. i contacted the lady and she asked for a 5,000 deposit from me...but i didnn't have that kind of money at that moment. thank god. but thanks for your opinion
