Did an 88-91 Hatch ever come with a rear wiper?

 

yeah mine is a 91 dx and i have a rear wiper

yea, my 89 Civic Si came with a rear wiper, but I got rid of it

 

My car has a rear wiper, doesn't work, but it's there.

 

The only ones that didn't were the std models.

I feel ripped off. i dont have a rear wiper. I want one because I cant see out of the back window when I drive in bad weater. Is it hard to swap one?

 

Here in Canada, all the hatchbacks 'dx and 'si models (1988-1991 for the 'dx and 1989-1991 for the 'si) come with the rear wiper. It's not the same thing for the 'cx model.

Get another Si or DX hatch, swap it and wire up a switch.

so I'm not the only one on here with one.
I had a rear wiper but the hatch was getting rusted on it and was a bit rotten so I just switched it with one off of a CX. I would have wanted to keep the wiper because of snow and rain, but didn't have much of a choice.
