Call dentwizard for ding repairs. Try Tischer Acura in Laurel, MD for maintenance.

Welcome to the VA,MD,DC area

What year R do you have?

And depending on what area of VA/DC you're in would better determine what delaership to refer you to.

I kind of hate to admit it, but I agree.

There are far too many independent, hard working mechanics to go to a dealer when you don't have to.

And there are far too many idiots hired by uncaring dealerships because all the good, hard working mechanics are somewhere else.

What kind of work were you after? That would help with a more intelligent reply.
those are my thoughts. I want help with a valve adjustment. i just dont' have the tools or space to do it. and i would like to learn how.

Welcome to the Mid Atlantic!

Speaking of dealers in service, most tech's don't hav ethe appreciation about cars as us. IF, I were to need a service that I can't do myself, I have a personal friend that works at Bailey's X-Roads, Radley Acura from 9-6PM M-F.

Thanks,
Victor

This is great information. Thanks for all the input. I'm glad that it only snows occassionally here. Already I'm looking forward to spring!

Depite what Steve says, I have no complaint about how I have been treated at Radley by 7 corners. However, I have only been there for warranty issues. If I were actually paying, there are many better/cheaper alternatives. Really depends on what you need.

Also, aside from service issues, watch your car! The ITR theft rate in this area is sky high.

Welcome to NoVA.

do the work yourself and buy oem parts online

and stay clear of rt.50 in maryland >> especially between dc and annapolis. the Troopers on there are abundant and "less than friendly"

I think that goes for the Fairfax County cops too. Herndon Police in particular.

However, that being said, I drove through a speed trap on the Toll Road tonight at 80 (limit is 65). Thought he would have come after me for 15 over. Maybe it was too cold.

ah man, they are out in full force probably on "operation *******" or something.

Saw about 10 on the way in today. They had all pulled over people. Everytime I passed (in the right lane, doing 5 under) they would look over with this evil grin, and I'd lift my travel coffe mug and smile.

I think they have a picture of my car on the bulletin board.
