roll call: Phantom Grip users: likes? dislikes?
i post this question as a potential buyer.
what is your take on the phantom grip "LSD," was it worth your $300? not so much interested in drag launches as i am interested in cornering feel.
if you have a component that you feel greatly increased your handling characteristics, please state what it is and why you feel the big difference. thanks for the conversation.

I dunno. I had one a long time ago when they first came out. I broke the pin that holds in it place....shot the diff through the trans and ran it over. It was really cool looking, but besides the fact that my trans case was gone....I smartened up and bought a Quaife. This was in a Y1 trans with a B16a.
there is a reason the phantom grip is more than half the cost of a quaife LSD...
what is the best bang for the buck?
Bottom line.....
A little good for drag racing
Not good for Road Courses
It loses its "LSD" power over time and the springs need to be replaced.....
Your stock trans was never meant to withstand the kind of pressures that the PG exerts
