HX rims on my 96 EX
Wassup, I juss picked up a set of HX rims today and I know for sure they will not fit on my EX, so my question is how much do I need to sand off the Calipers? A lot or a little? Thanks
Dude what are you taking about? HX wheels will bolt right up to an EX. VX wheels will not fit, but for sure HX wheels will fix.

I digress. I expected that the HX wheels being 14inchers would bolt right onto an EX, since it also comes standard with 14 inch wheels. My understanding was that the brakes were essentially the same also. I guess I was mistaken.
Alright, let's get some knowledge into this thread. I want to get a set of HX rims also. I'm guessing there are no clearance issues for the rear since it's drum brakes. Are spacers easily purchased? How much for two that are big enough to clear the HX rims over EX brakes calipers? Do they just slip on, so you can easily take them off if you're swapping rims?
Its a funny thing. I was just thinking about this the other day when rims came into mind for the car I'm getting. They are small, light and are made by honda. Are they really that much better/lighter than the stock ones with the caps?

Spacers or grind the edge of the caliper down a little.
