Anybody ever tried on of these mugen or spoon ecu's on e-bay?
I keep seeing these mugen and spoon and other ecu chips on e-bay like this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1874376719. Has anyone ever tried on of these chips? If so, did it increase performance? Right now, i have i/h/e and that's about it. Would buying this chip do anything to my engine performance. I guess it's supposed to increase max rpms and make v-tec come in earlier. Any help...

with the chips you don't really know what you're getting, most likly a skunk2 program with low rev limit... which exactly doesn't work with all the setups, especially SOHC VTECs

so basicly, these chips are just a waist of money and don't really do anything to help your engine? Especially a stock engine?
