my friend and i were working on the car when he pulled out my wires,. i forgot which direction they went on the distributer., which one is the #1 ngk plug going on the ditributer ?? on the upper left ??

 

It goes like this. #1 (closest to timeing belt) goes to the lower left (on distributer). #2 goes to the lower right. #3 goes to the upper left. and #4 goes to the upper right. This is viewed standing on the pasengers side.
