i have a question
my friend cut his shifter down himself, does that do the same thing as a short shifter that you buy? i am not planning on cutting my shifter, but i was just wondering this because this kid doesnt some stupid things to his car and i was wondering if this was just another stupid thing or something that actully works.
It does make the throw shorter with the shifter, but this is the true getto way of doing it. A proper short throw shifter changes the pivot point that the shifter moves on.
well, I have heard of that being done before...I really think you'd have to know what your doing though. So, I dont really recommend it...if your in the market for a short shifter, I'd go with a DC sports one, and not a knockoff brand. I ve heard horror stories about that ******* up peoples sync-rows and ****..Not good. But I have this friend with a DC Sports shifter and if feels really nice..Highly recommend one
