how to tell if H22 IAB is working.
I need to make sure if the IAB for the secondarys are working on my H22. Is it possible to put the car in the air and run it through the gears and have someone watch the diaphram to see if it pulls the valve open? if not is there a way to do it?
they are open when the car is off, and turn on when you start the car, if they are closed when its on then they are working.. if you have everything connected that is.. they will turn on around 4200 rpm if using a P13 and you can hear them especially in 2nd gear..
wsup man...i need some info as to get my car to be like yours..ahhahaha i just wnat to represent the h22 in a hatch. hook me up with a lil list of how to do's, if you dont mind!?! well let me know about any links or other peoples who are familiar with this swap...thanks!

ok.. so if it in one postion when off and I turn the car on and it's in the other position then it should be working right? I do have everything connected(except egr). The reason I ask is because I lost to an older 5.0 on rt 80 today.
Chameleon: I found out why my idle was fucked up the day of the meet, it turned out to be the fast idle control valve it unsrewed itself, it wasnt the EGR.

Well although the older stangs arent fast generally they still can kick *** especially on top end.. But for all you know he was juicing, and with that you have no chance..
BTW, how is your gas mileage..?? As for now I am getting like 100m to the tank. I am going to pull my plugs sometime this week and check them though...
And do you still get the code for EGR?

Only way to solve is to wire it up. Or get an ECU program that doesnt look for it.. I am not sure if the Spoon chip looks for EGR or not. I do know that with my JDM p13 I dont get the code.. I will have more info once I get the ECU back with the spoon chip in it.. I am still going to just block off the EGR though..
