i have the act hd 6puck. i have had it on for almost 30,000 miles now. it has the typical clutch chatter... but lately, its been making metal on metal noises when i shift. its occassional... sometimes, when i apply more gas or shift too early, it makes that noise. im thinkin its the fact that the clutch is not hubsprung and it makes metallic noises as the disk engages with the flywheel.

so... im considering replacing the clutch. i want the grab of an ACT, but less noise and worry about messin up my tranny. what would you recommend? any thoughts on the metal on metal noise?

 

CM Stage 4 should be good enoough unless your making over 400whp
