14b is tiny, u'll get plenty of midrange but it'll die quick up top, VERY quick. u can run 2.5 inch DP and keep all the goodies.

what i really want to know is if i could use the o2 sensor housing off the 14B on my integra and still clear the AC ..i made 2.5 inch downpipe for my friends home made turbo kit on his EF and it was a pain in the ***...

im going to be buying a T25 .. all its for is a lil more street power and my integras an automatic soo i think itll do good ...

not really..it all depends which one...
they do die off in the upper rev's! it dies off in the upper revs on a talon.

>>Are you on crack? a 14b is perfect for a teg up to 15 psi<<

Naww, they're just Hondatech members.

I've been trying to figure out the "big turbo" fetish on this forum for awhile. A 14b is loafing until you're making power well in excess of 250 hp. I don't care how small it is. Power is all about moving air, and a 14b moves all the air a stock B18 can handle. Especially at less than 10 psi like most of us run...

i kinda wonder when you would get in and out of boost with this turbo. i really wish that someone who knows a lot more about turbos than me would make a list for when diferent common turbos will get in and out of boost on a b18. i guess that would take the fun out of th trial and error stage part

14b is a very good turbo for a integra, I ran a 13.3 @11 psi full interior.

It really depends on the style of manifold you make, the postion of the turbo will decipher if you can use the stock 02 housing or not. More than likly you will need to get a custom o2 flange and built a custom o2 housing along with your downpipe..

similar to this,

Actually this pipe would be backwards on your setup, since we mount the compressor housings towards the driverside.

Btw, a 14b will work fine for your setup, the T25 is a pretty small turbo.

can someone tell me how mitsu turbos rack up to T turbo's? what is a 14b comparable to? 16g 18g 29g and the like

mitsu turbos seem to pretty plentiful and stock DSM turbos can be had pretty cheap

Default You can dip into the 11's with a 14b

People take the 14b into the 12's on 1g DSM's

They peak out around 6200 on a DSM

the 14b on my CRX pulls like crazy till my redline at 7k. I would be willing to bet i would pull till 8k on a 1.6.

I have no experience with one on a B18 but i would be willling to bet you could pull that thing to 7k on it.

i had a 2.5 in down pipe with a cut out, so i had full boost around 3000rpm, on a b18b.

Good luck getting that DSM manifold to fit a Honda B-series, or any honda for that matter, its not even close.. The offset is way off for alignment on the ports.

Custom is the only way..
