FS: my 96 integra gsr coupe (detailed)
Hello all,
With much sadness, I write this post in hopes to find my beloved Integra a good home.
After building this car through various different setups (NA, JRSC, turbo, built turbo), and performing 3 rebuilds on this motor... I'm throwing the towel in. My last rebuild 8000 miles ago included many new forged components as well as the use of a stock metal headgasket bolted down with ARP head studs. My last dyno put down 315whp on 91octane pump gas and was very conservatively tuned.
8000 miles later (2 weeks ago), the headgasket decided to blow, allowing water to enter my cylinder 4. After towing the car home and ripping the head off today, I not only discovered the blown headgasket as suspected, but a cracked cylinder 4 wall that tried to compress water.
I'm honestly tired of building viper and zo6 killing street drag Hondas. While very enjoyable and rewarding, it comes down to being a lot of work and a LOT of tuning attention.
I'm selling my 1996 Integra Gs-R coupe. It's in mint condition and has a clean record. The only thing needed to get this car running, is a new short block (unless you have someone who can repair cyl walls for you). Everything else is there. Full 96 cloth interior, upgraded speakers and deck, power everything, moon roof, viper alarm, 80K on the chassis, voltage blue (2000 integra) paint job ($2000 paint job), white 15 inch kosei k1 rims on kumho 712s, h&r lowering springs, neuspeed rear tie bar, custom 3 inch mandrel bent exhaust piping into a 3 inch hks hiper muffler, 3 inch carsound high flow cat, non-grinding stock gsr tranny with act xtreme pressure plate, street organic disk, and BRE lightened gsr flywheel (all with 10K miles), stock gsr head rebuilt 8000 miles ago, msd blaster 2 coil, msd distr cap, msd 6a ignition box, aem cam gears.
Here's the info on the block that is included with the car that needs to either have it's cyl 4 walls repaired or short block replaced. b18c1 block with 8000 miles on all bearings and seals, water pump, timing belt, tensioner pulley. ARP Head studs, ARP rod bolts, Custom cunningham forged rods, JE 20 over 9:1 CR pistons (cyl 4 piston is damaged).

Please make me a good offer. This car is in perfect condition and makes an EXCELLENT daily driver/autox'er/road racer/super drag car. All it needs is a block swap and it's ready to be pimp again (few hour job for you hard core hybriders!). I'm located in San Jose, CA. I welcome all questions to my email trustgsr@hotmail.com
Thanks!
Best regards,
Jon

I'm throwing in the stock intake, exhaust manifold and catalytic converter. The turbo electronics such as turbo timer and PMS will be sold separately or kept for another project.
The turbo setup is going to be sold separately or kept.
thanks!
