I know the 1999 Type-R was not imported for that year to the States, but in Canada, was there a 1999 Type-R?? Because I'm about to buy one.

OK, most of us know that (no 99's in US) but do you know why they did not exactly? I mean, if they already had the Integra in the US since 94, complied to OBD-II standards in 96', why didn't they bring it in 99'? I can't think of any significant changes in the design since their last refreshening was in 98'. Why didn't they take care of whatever emissions/safety issues they had in the 98' update? I do remember that the 96' Toyota Supra Turbo 6-spd was held back because it couldn't pass emissions. However, the Supra Turbo was available in other configurations. Otherwise, I can't think of any other cars that were held back.

Does the '99 ITR have '98 spec cams or '00-01-spec cams? We all know that the 00-01s had a more aggressive intake cam but did the CDM '99s as well?

I see about 6-7 a day

I've read many different things. Like the 99 was the same as the 98. But than I read that 99 was when they introduced the more aggressive intake cam. But than I see something that the 99 had a different setup than every other year.

correction:
The 99 has got a Momo steering wheel... The 98 doesn`t. It`s ugly and huge compared to the Momo.
