I got a "cheap skate" aftermarket steering wheel from
a friend(christmas gift)
which looks like those selling in pep boy
I think i need an adapter for it and yes..where the heck i can
find one? another problem is the srs light, how do you remove
the air bag without setting out off?
any tips on removing steering wheel? (on 02 accord coupe)
damn...maybe i should get the momo(trek) instead huh?

cannot remove any SRS equip and bypass SRS light only remedy is to remove SRS bulb from guage cluster.

 

2 questions...would an S2k wheel be able to be fitted to a 95 accord; and why the hell is my SRS light on? I got into an accident 2 yrs ago. The impact was hard enough that the bags should have deployed but didnt. About a year after that I was just driving and the light came on and has been on since... any thoughts?

 

blown fuse, but the fuse will not cause the bags to not work, they work even with the fuse blown or removed

 

does it throw a code?

 

Hey Jason...if it's still wrapped or in a box, if you wait till after Xmas (probably the day after only), you can "most likely" return it for at least store credit without a reciept. Oil and filters and a honda manual are always good things to buy from there with the credit. Call and ask some manager dude...

 

there was a SRS recall for the 5th gen accords. my 95 accord was included in it. maybe you should take it in.

I am getting a steering wheel leather wrap and that's it.
Not giving up air bags after all.
anyway...i was at the dealer today and they want 60 bucks for the
leather wrap..anyone know where to get it cheaper?
btw it's for
honda accord coupe 2002 steering wheel leather cover.
