Default Just a little disappointed...

I'm not sure if I'm directly allowed to talk about companies (don't wanna get in trouble), but I'll just say I'm left a little disappointed in one of Honda-Tech's advertiser. The other I was speaking to an advertiser through AIM. I asked him how much a JDM Header would cost before I got a chance to look at his site. He told me $425. I thought, thats about average, right? (It is just in case you didn't know) Then I asked him what they payed for it (curious). He wouldn't tell me because I wasn't a dealer (Understandable since I work at a store too). Then I asked him if he could give me a better deal, he says $400. I'm thinking, hey this is a cool guy. Then I go to his site to look around, and there on his site. JDM header, price=$399.99. Needless to say, I AIM him again asking why he intially gave me a higher price then what his site had listed it at and said that wasn't exactly good business. And he stopped replying from there. Now some people might thinking I'm complaining, but some people may find it understandable. Just wanted to express my disappointment in businesses now a days

i give you props for not calling him out posting his name.

however, he probably did try to jack up the price, but just remember this, a dealer who has a very big inventory cant remember all the prices sometimes....its possible he didnt remember off hand...

but who knows...

You know he's right, You can never remember the price you quoteed someone. Espesially when you have a large amount of inventory. He might of quoted you the original price and then remember these were on sale and reduced it for you when you ask if is was possible to get it cheaper.
could of been a simple mistake and not trying to rip you off.

Or on the other hand maybe. You just don't know.
