4th gen owners ...clutch question
juss wonderin, what does a stock prelude clutch feel like? I bought my lude used, and i've driven only one other 4th gen lude ...and his clutch was a lot easier to press in then mine. It brings me to the idea that either I have a aftermarket clutch of some sort ...because the original owner must have shot his stock one because I bought it w/ 97k miles. Is there some way to find out what type of clutch I have? Also, if you guys could tell me if it is easy or not to press in your stock clutch or not ...because mine definetly feels maaaaaaaad aftermarket, but then ...who knows, I'm no guru ...just learning. Thanks

its kinda tough to go by just the feel. i dont know how mine feels. i guess 'average'. i love the feel though. not too hard not too soft. i believe i still have the stock clutch since i bought the car with 38k a year ago.
My stock clutch was fairly easy to push. Now my CM stage 4 is a different story.
To answer your question, yes, the stock clutch is very easy to engage.

Hey man, I see you are from MD. Cool.
Mine is the exact opposite. My clutch pedal is pretty stiff. I think this may be casue by my clutch master cylinder. I am gonna change mine to see if that fixes it.
Good luck with the car.

my stock clutch was stiff in my opinion and most of my friends agreed with me... course i didnt really know what the word 'stiff' could mean till i got a stage 3, and it can get even harder than that
